Regular oil change helps protect the life of your car
  • Oil change
  • Vehicle maintenance

One of the simplest, most effective and inexpensive ways to help protect the life of your car, especially its engine, is to change the oil and the oil filter regularly.  The simplest way to tell when you are due for an oil change is the odometer oil change light or keeping track of mileage driven since its last service.

What Does the Oil Do - The motor oil protects your vehicle’s engine by lubricating moving parts. It also keeps internal engine components cool and clean from harmful deposits. Without regular Oil Change services it's highly likely the helpful motor oil additives will get used up and cause the oil to degrade - meaning sludge and deposits will build up. Getting your engine oil drained will remove contaminants.

Oil is the lifeblood of your engine. It reduces friction, lessens wear, provides lubrication, forms a seal between the pistons, rings and cylinder walls while helping to cool engine parts. Without the cleaning action of new oil, carbon and varnish buildup would be toxic to the engine. And engine oil even dampens the shock and noise of moving parts.
